Cyclone Separator
What is Cyclone Separator?
A cyclone separator is a filtration component on many vacuum trucks that spins incoming air to fling out solids and moisture before they reach the blower, protecting the pump and improving suction efficiency.
A cyclone separator uses centrifugal force to drop debris and water droplets out of the airflow before the air passes through the blower. By separating solids from the airstream, it prevents material from damaging the pump and helps maintain consistent vacuum performance.
Cyclone separators are common on industrial vacuum and hydrovac trucks alongside final filters. They matter most when handling wet slurry or fine, abrasive material. On Vac4Rent, submit a free request and rental companies can advise on equipment suited to your material and site.
